On the eastern flank of the St. Pietersberg hill (overlooking the Meuse), lies a very special and valuable point of interest: the Lichtenberg Castle ruins. It is undoubtedly the oldest castle ruin in the Netherlands, with foundations dating from the 10th century. The more built-up sections date from the 12th and 15th century and are made from sandstone and marl respectively. From the top, visitors have a breathtaking view of the Meuse Valley. - Horaires d'ouverture: tous le dim, entre le 29 avril et 4 nov, de 12h00 a 16h30 - Prix d'entreé: contribution volontaire
